My Story
Meet Charlie, a strong and resilient horse who was rescued by Highveld Horse Care Unit after enduring severe abuse and neglect. For years, Charlie was beaten regularly and forced to carry heavy loads, leaving her with chronic back pain and a deep mistrust of humans.
Though Charlie is still wary, we are slowly beginning to gain her trust through gentle care and patience. We’ve started physiotherapy treatments to help with her sore back, and we’re dedicated to providing her with the comfort and healing she needs.
